Jacqueline Dussard Sanders

Board President and Executive Director

Jacqueline Dussard Sanders is the visionary behind TruVision Productions. As a longtime resident of the South Suburbs of Chicago, Jacqueline holds a B.A. in Broadcasting with a concentration in Journalism from Columbia College and an MBA from Purdue University. She is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and inspirational speaker with extensive experience in media and community engagement. Jacqueline’s leadership and dedication have been instrumental in the success and growth of TruVision Productions.

Dr. Tamara M. Young

Board Member

Dr. Tamara M. Young brings over fifteen years of experience in education and advocacy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a school concentration, a Certificate of Advanced Study Degree in Education, and a Doctoral Degree in Education Leadership from National Louis University. Dr. Young is the Director of Pupil Personnel and Special Education Services at Ford Heights School District 169 and has served as the School Board President of Country Club Hills School District 160. Her extensive background in education and her commitment to student success make her a valuable asset to our board.

Ms. Mitchell Fumilayo

Board Member

Ms. Mitchell “Fumi” Fumilayo has built a successful career spanning the nonprofit and marketing worlds. Fumi has held significant roles such as, Director of Development for Respond Now, Director of Cause Marketing for the American College of Chest Physicians and Associate Director of Corporate Partner Development for the National Black MBA Association. Fumi is currently a Deputy Director of Philanthropy with UNICEF USA. Fumi also brings years of Marketing and Project Management experience. Fumi is a native Chicagoan who currently lives in the southern suburbs of Chicago. She holds an MBA in Integrated Marketing Communications and loves to travel. Fumi is also a proud member of the Top Ladies of Distinction.

Mr. Michael Perkins

Advisory Board Member

Mr. Perkins has been a resident of Flossmoor Illinois, along with his
wife Elaine, for the past 24 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago, He also
holds a Certificate in Communications from the DePaul Graduate
School of New Learning. He is a Money Smart Certified Trainer for the
SBA Financial Education Curriculum. He is also a dedicated advocate
for entrepreneurs and real estate investors. He provides strategic
solutions for aspiring entrepreneurs and real estate investors who are
just starting a business or want to grow their current business even
faster. His focus is on assisting them with accessing the resources to
achieve both business and financial success. He and his team assist
small business owners with securing the funding they need to
stabilize, and grow, their businesses. As a financial professional,
Michael educates entrepreneurs on how to protect their assets and
create a tax-free retirement. He is known as a connector who hosts
live and virtual events in collaboration with industry experts to provide
even more value for their clients. Michael is President of the board of
Spread The Bread Media NFP, and a co-author of a collaborative
book “Harness the Power of Purpose: How to Monetize Your Personal
and Business Journey”.

Together, they provide strategic direction, oversight, and support to ensure TruVision Productions continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the youth we serve.
