Quentin Sanders attended Truvision from 7th grade through 12th grade, during which he consistently demonstrated his passion and talent for the arts. His early potential was evident when he wrote and directed the production “Step Up to Fame” in 2015, a project that received acclaim for its creativity and execution. This production not only highlighted Quentin’s skills in writing and directing but also set the stage for his future successes in the film industry.
Quentin made his television debut as a co-star in Chicago Med's season 4, episode 15 crossover event. He appeared alongside Torrey DeVitto (Natalie) and Marlyne Barrett (Maggie).
Quentin is also known for his role in a series of WeatherTech commercials, where he performs acrobatics in a ninja pit crew uniform. Additionally, he starred in a 2019 NFHS commercial, encouraging student-athletes to excel, concluding his message with a backflip.
Quentin Sanders made his acting debut in "A Chance in the World," released nationally on May 30, 2018. The film is based on the best-selling book by Steve Pemberton, detailing his life in the foster care system and highlighting systemic issues. Quentin played Reggie, the foster brother of the main character.
In May 2018, Quentin completed his first short film, "John and Jane Doe," which was screened at Marcus Theater. Truvision hosted the community event, featuring the screening and a Q&A session. Attendees were eager to learn about filmmaking, directing, lighting, and other technical aspects from Quentin.
Based on the award-winning book, A Chance in the World is the inspirational true story of a gifted boy who must escape his abusive foster parents to fulfill his incredible destiny.
