TruVision Productions, NFP Board of Directors



Board member and Executive Director of TruVision Productions, Singer, Songwriter and Inspirational Speaker, Jacqueline Dussard Sanders, is a long-time resident of the South Suburbs of Chicago. Jacqueline studied at Columbia College and earned a B.A. Degree in Broadcasting with a concentration in Journalism and a MBA from Purdue University. As the dedicated wife of (Gregory) and mother of three boys, (Durrant, Malik, and Quentin) Jacqueline has involved herself in many community-based organizations. She is an accomplished business owner/entrepreneur and the creator, producer and host of Inspirational Sounds. Inspirational Sounds is a Christian Variety Show that aired on TLN. The pilot reached audiences in both the Chicagoland & New Jersey geographical areas. Additionally, she was a featured guest host on the Minority Business Report which aired on WGN Channel 9. She was also a consumer contributor for Clear Channel radio station 1390, on the Mike Robinson Show. Jacqueline is still a performer and uses her voice to inspire others. Her experience in the industry is the basis for TruVision’s success!


Board member Dr. Tamara M. Young,is the wife of (Craig) and mother of son (Ka'Ron). Mrs. Young has been a resident of Country Club Hills for the past Twelve Years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a school concentration and a Certificate of Advance Study Degree in Education. Additionally, she recently received her Doctoral Degree in Education Leadership at National Louis University. Her extensive background in education is demonstrated on a daily basis within her position of Director of Pupil Personnel and Special Education Services at Ford Heights School District 169. This experience has also allowed her to be an advocate for students for the past fifteen years. Affiliations include: School Board President of Country Club Hills School District 160, STEM Foundation Secretary, Association of Illinois School Board Presidents Secretary, Illinois Association of School Boards, Illinois Alliance of Special Education Administrators, Prove Them Wrong (PTW) Mentor, Country Club Hills Education Foundation Member, Country Club Hills Housing Commissioner, and TruVision Productions Board Member.


Board member TyheitaDyransburg is affectionately known as Ty. She is a resident of the South Suburbs and the proud mother of daughter (Brianna), who is a graduate of DePaul University. She is also CEO and President of Eden Oasis Family of Companies, a faith based Real Estate Development Company. Ty attended University of Illinois for 3 years and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Chicago State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Her background and work experience include Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Eli Lily & Company, Admissions and Certification Counselor at Chicago State University. Director of College Relations for Robert Morris College and Associate Director for the Donald Peterson Foundation and Co-founder of Boys to Men/Ladies First Youth Development Program


Board member Dr. James Washington III, has expert cross-functional management experience in strategic planning, development, and operations of integrated health care and non-profit organizations. He has a proven track record of successfully spearheading introduction of outcomes driven programs, leading aggressive organizational restructuring efforts and launching plans to maximize growth and ROI. He holds Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and PMP. Excellent presentation, consensus-building and leadership skills. Dr. Washington received a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in 2007. A Master’s Degree in Finance from Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. Degree in Health Administration-Education & Social Policy from Northwestern


Board member Mrs. Darcelle Williams, has been in education for 35 years and is a wife to (Eugene Williams) and mother to daughter (Actress, Cesili Williams). She is active in her church and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta and Top Ladies of Distinction. Darcelle graduated from Illinois State University where she majored in Theater Education. She also holds two master degrees, one in Theatre from Roosevelt University and one in Educational Administration from Governors State University. Ms. Williams has taught English, Theatre and Speech at various high schools including Chicago Vocational High School, Wilibrord Catholic High School, Percy Julian High School and finally at Thornwood High School in District 205 where she has been for 20 years. Additionally, she was deeply involved in fine arts where she was the Fall and Spring Play director, Head Speech Coach, and Co Director of Group Interpretation. She holds two IHSA State Championships in Group Interpretation and was involved in many committees and has served as the Chairperson of the Senior Project Committee, Assistant Principal in 2006 and Principal in 2008. Darcelle retired as Director of College and Career Pathways and was elated to join the Board of TruVision

Board Member Ms. Fumilayo Mitchell Fumi has built a successful career spanning the nonprofit and marketing worlds. Fumi has held significant roles such as, Director of Development for Respond Now, Director of Cause Marketing for the American College of Chest Physicians and Associate Director of Corporate Partner Development for the National Black MBA Association. Fumi is currently a Major Gifts Officer with UNICEF USA. Fumi also brings years of Marketing and Project Management experience. Fumi is a native Chicagoan who currently lives in the southern suburbs of Chicago. She holds an MBA in Integrated Marketing Communications and loves to travel.
